Banana Ice Cream (Nice Cream)
Ingredients
- 5 ripe bananas (approx. 17.5 oz), in pieces, frozen (see Tip)
 
Preparation
- Place bananas into mixing bowl and chop 15 sec/speed 8. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula and mix 1 min/speed 4. Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately.
 
Hints & Tips
- Use very ripe bananas for the ice cream so that it is sufficiently sweet.
 - Bananas should be frozen solid, at least 2 hours or overnight.
 - To make ahead, scoop out balls of Nice Cream and freeze in a single layer on a parchment lined tray. Once frozen, place in a freezer bag. Enjoy by taking out frozen scooped balls and allowing to soften slightly before serving.
 - Mix in 1 tbsp peanut butter and/or 1 tbsp honey.
 - Transfer mixture to popsicle molds and freeze. Once frozen, dip popsicles in melted chocolate. Serve immediately or place into a sealable container and store in the freezer until ready to serve.
